This is a ‘One Off’ Prototype. This is the first time we have ever offered up a prototype for sale. The very first flat top Retrospec with solid korina body and neck. Features a super dark slab Brazilian fingerboard complete with CITES permits. Those who know Korina, know it’s special. This guitar pays homage to the late 50’s ‘futuristic’ Gibsons of the era – the Explorer and the Flying V. Korina is known for its incredible mid range – absolute ‘Burst Killer’ tone by the ton! A truly unapologetic rock and roll machine to the core! Fitted with WIZZ pickups, This guitar has articulation and touch sensitivity in spades. It plays best when its cranked through a Marshall offering amazing overtones and harmonics – almost microphonic sounding. Super thin non plasticized Nitro-Cellulose finish, with vintage correct ‘straw’ pore filler Lightly aged for a perfect old guitar feel. Guitar ships with a custom hardshell case with our Logo embroidered on the interior. Brazilian Rosewood fretboard is CITES certified and ships legally with proper export and import permits.
